Chet Hanks' Filmography Buff
yeah, it’s no trouble at all.Surprisingly easy to change the jumpers too. I was a bit nervous, but that was easy as pie.

Reach out to Steve Sutherland. They had a run of them awhile back. I don’t know if its something he is still producing though.A very minor thing overall, but do they make a black face plate? For how great it sounds it has no aesthetic factor to make it look sexy.
Sounds like something I might be able to find one day if I keep my eyes peeled. Really not important or worth the money, but would be nice to have it match. The sound and the price made it worth not even considering looks. The previous owner was 81 and passed away, so his son was selling his gear. It looks brand new, so he clearly took good care of it. His son said all he did his last few years was play with his system and he loved it. So it makes me feel good to add a piece with that lineage. Can't wait to spend some serious time with it next week! They used to but don’t think they do anymore. I wanna say someone here had one for sale? Maybe @Angsty ? But it may be long gone
Maybe that'll mean more one day?I reached out about a black faceplate a few months ago and Steve said he’s saving the ones he has left for a new product
I didn't have a preference before, but since my NADs are all black I started aiming for the rest to match. I like the silver look too, especially those that pay tribute to the vintage look.Team silver faceplate rise up
That’s my understanding.I thought someone reached out to Ron and he said something like “stay tuned for future availability” which meant they might be back in production.
I did the exact same thing. I think on the mk2 version, they used the "logical" rca groupings. Congrats on the new phono stage!A minor embarrassment that I had and almost was really sad about was that the left channel didn't work at first. Turned out that the power cord had come loose. So I pushed it back in and ... Still nothing. Opened it again and everything looked good so I googled it and reading the manual I really appreciated that it said a ton of customers called them saying that the left channel didn't work... Because we're dumb and didn't read the labels closely on the back. So I hanged my head in shame moved the cables to the right plugs and the left channel sprang to life.
Yeah, the Mk1s are literally side by side boards in one chassis where the only difference is which direction the power lead is facing. I believe the Mk2 has fully mirrored left/right units.I did the exact same thing. I think on the mk2 version, they used the "logical" rca groupings. Congrats on the new phono stage!
for each of the two boards, from the front of the unit, the input is on the left. the output is on the right. What was the orientation of the Mk1 models?
