- Tracy Chapman “Crossroads,” VG+

- Beyoncé “Lemonade” Yellow, VG+

Nice! We've just booked a long weekend in Copenhagen for later on in the year. I will have to make a list of shops to check out.I was in Copenhagen for the first time since the pandemic last week and got time to check out a new record store for me, Ooh Aah Records. Quickly became one of my favourites. It's small but full of surprises. They had a couple of Prince bootlegs (including the Black Album) that I nearly picked up. But ended up with these two for £5 each. The African Brothers Band is the absolute highlight - not listed on Discogs until now, my 31st album by them, really fabulous. Took a punt on the Cee-Lo as seem to remember enjoying it and figured I could sell it for more than I paid if needs. V chatty, knowledgeable owner and I'll be back.

To share my joy, here’s the ice cream shop’s latest IG post:
I can’t go tomorrow.
It’s primarily an ice cream shop. Very small. That's insane.
Is this a regular record store with record store prices? Or more like a thrift shop? If the latter, then I stand by my original statement.![]()
