When we did the N&G all-time top albums group list, this was the #1 album on the list I submitted. It's a pretty good choice.

Cage the Elephant - Thank You, Happy Birthday

This was the first CD I bought for myself (the first one I owned was Reba’s #1s), I remember being so hyped for the albums release that I had my dad drive my to Best Buy in the snow so I could buy it day 1! Before I leave for Into vinyl I had a pretty nice CD collection but I sold the majority of them a couple years ago because they were just collecting dust, but there was no way I was going to let this one go

One of 3 Movie Soundtracks to win AOTU (Including the other album for today!) play a movie Soundtrack

Various Artist "Postales Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" (2018 Colemine Records)
Listed as various artist but in reality this soundtrack is a Budos Band side project. Great mix of funky instrumentals with a few latin-flavored and spaghetti western-inspired tracks.

Day 18 - Stevie Wonder won AOTY the two previous years in a row and then took a year off from releasing music, Paul Simon famously thanked Stevie for not releasing and album so he could win. Play an album by any artist who isnt Stevie Wonder

Bruce Springsteen - Tunnel Of Love

Bruce had been having an affair with backup singer and future wife, Patti Scialfa prior to recording Tunnel Of Love, an album primarily dealing with the dissolution of his marriage to his then wife Julianne Phillips. By 1989 Bruce and Phillips were divorced and a couple years later he married Scialfa.
