The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

My view of Jamiroquai is being more of a one hit wonder due to "Virtual Insanity" being his biggest success in the US. I thought maybe this album would help me see that past that but so far it just sounds like of dated to me and all I can think about is "Yep, that's the Virtual Insanity guy singing".

For the MOST part, I’d rather stream the deluxe. I don’t need all that crap I’m only going to listen to once taking up space. However, there are albums and artists that I have multiple deluxe of - Prince, Drive By Truckers, Beatles, etc.

I do dislike that a bunch of these have only been available on streaming as extended, deluxe things. It makes listening to the album as intended a little more laborious.

I remember MTV did a story about how they accomplished the visual effects for that video. It was interesting. Basically the floor was in fact stationary while the room and camera moved creating the illusion that the floor was moving.

I love non CGI visual effects.

Also happy to have live through the golden age of music videos.
