Day 3 - Sequence it how you want it Play an album that has been released with different tracklists. Alternatively, play something that you think is badly sequenced.
Check and check.
This album has been released with added tracks as well as being degradingly resequenced.
Day 4 - Philips Play something released on Philips records. Or play something that includes someone named Philip or Phil. Or Lou.
David Bowie - All Saints
What started as a mix cd that David made for family and friends then got an official release. A mixtape of Bowie instrumentals. Also includes Philip Glass’ Some Are which is part of his Low Symphony.
The cassette version of the album has My Brother Esau as the last track on side A, but it's not on the vinyl versions. I like the song and it's placement doesn't ruin the album vibe for me so I wish it was on here.
Day 5 - Normal and High Bias All this talk of metals can only mean one thing… play something “metallic”.
Camp Lo "Uptown Saturday Night" (1997 Profile Records; 2019 club edition)
Pressed using Direct Metal Mastering (DMM). Decided to return with some funk to the mix. Going with Nicky Barnes aka It's Alright as the next track. The dusty vinyl sample at the start of the track serves as a bit of a transition from the 60's Serge Gainsbourg track.
1. Thundercat "Oh Sheit it's X"
2. ABC "Poison Arrow"
3. Elvis Costello "The Beat"
4. Serge Gainsbourg "Requiem Pour Un Twisteur"
5. Camp Lo "Nicky Barnes aka It's Alright"
