Vinyl Me Please Classics

Like I said, I think it’s a stretch though it is a classic R&B/Funk album. Much more than any of the other albums mentioned so far.

I think the name change is a good misleading tidbit to keep people from guessing it. The only other option that isn't nixed right now is Curtis Mayfield. I think you're onto something. Would be a great pick too. Great New Orleans funk/soul musicians on that record including Allen Toussaint.

Speaking of Allen Toussaint and New Orleans, we need more of that in Classics. His solo work, The Meters, Lee Dorsey’s Yes We Can all need some solid reissues.

I've been wanting more Curtis Mayfield in my collection, the only album of his I have is Sweet Exorcist. So I'd be super happy with Got to Find a Way.
For anyone interested the Curtis box set is excellent. Chris Bellman Mastered. Pressed at Optimal which isn't always the best but my set is great. Not expensive either. The jackets are thin but still aren't the worst, have the extra flaps etc that the OGs had.

The only way to make Got to find way Curtis' ninth album is if you count his live album and the Gladys Knight album that he only wrote and produced, but it's 9th on his wikipedia so that's probably enough for storf.

I'm thinking Nightbirds is looking like the front runner now.
