Already being discussed among other things in the Exclusives thread, but this new update from VMP about the future of the Classics track is worth bringing up again here:

• Classics: This track will be renamed to "Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Soul," and it will include both classic and modern examples of these genres.

From here. The change starts in October.

I guess I'm ok with having more contemporary titles showing up in here, but "Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Soul" doesn't quite roll off the tongue the same way "Classics" does. I can see it quickly becoming JBFS for shorthand.

It’s weird to think that when I was a 90s kid, we called music from the 60s, “oldies”, and now music from the 90s is that same amount of old.

Now, radio was a primitive device that we used to ‘stream’ music before Spotify
