To me though, that's supposed to be icing on the cake. 1LP cut and pressed at GZ is bare bones and should be <$25. I don't want to pay 50% more just for packaging from a standard reissue IF that is the reason it is more expensive. I don't know why they'd keep any extras a secret either.

I dunno maybe they don’t have the final approval on the real art yet, but they still wanted the cash straight away. Or maybe it’s some of statement by Fiona that it represents her bare emotional state and the red represents the anger women have inside, or maybe it’s just VMP being lazy lol

If it were me, I'd prioritize people who never got sent a product they ordered and paid for over people who received damaged items, but what do I know I'm a bear, I suck the heads off fish!

It's rare that they would display what an inner sleeve looks like in the mockup. That's why I'm leaning toward an outer sleeve (slipcase). The other possibility is just to show anything more appealing and less basic than that red cover

If it does end up being some kind of statement by Fiona I’m going to laugh if people who complained about how dull it is start saying how brilliant it is.

Same.

Personally, I don't care either way, although to do it as a slipcase would make more sense and is a lot more appealing. Trying to sell it as some brilliant art direction, and presenting this as the final result after delaying it for 3 years, is laughable, though.

Especially considering that it’s only a matter of time until VMP fucks up something for the “naysayer” and he will be on there in a couple month complaining himself.

I'm still waiting for my AP Miles Davis that I placed an order for on April 7. Nothing in Informed Delivery. I've hit their DMs on Twitter and IG, and replied on their Twitter feed today.

I can't fathom why people with legitimate concerns/complaints get buried.

EDIT: I guess should expand. I made this order entirely with store credit; not a dime handed over. Perhaps that's why their seeming ambivalence towards this order continues, I have no leverage to ask for a refund/PayPal chargeback.
