Just in case anyone is interested, I just played through my VMP copy of Shabaka again. Theres no audio issues that I can hear, the only niggle is a slight warp (almost a bump) to the first LP. I read the points @Bluecloud777 made and double-checked these areas and I certainly dont have any of the surface noises as the tracks run out.
To use Joel Ross as an example, I know a lot of people had the weird 'glitchy' noise at the same part as mine so I assumed that was an issue which everyone would have. Then I started to see a few people that don't have this issue with theirs. I actually messaged a knowledgable jazz guy on instagram that posted his copy and he got back to me to say he didnt have that issue with his. Any sort of logic goes out the window at that point and I gave up.
Yeah I think your right there. It gets to the point sometimes where I wish I could play the record on other turntables to see the difference.I think a lot of it starts coming down to turntables, needles, etc where some can handle/minimize minor flaws better than others.
I wonder if this problem is specific to the VMP pressing? Are there any people here, who have bought the regular black pressing of the Shabaka album and have similiar issues?
Love Musictoday. Overpriced shipping, a pain to cancel, and take forever to send things out.

Khruangibn was also supposed to be early August but it shipped early, so if Frazier is "In Stock" i'm just wondering why they haven't shipped them yet...Early August unless its been delayed.
