Dear VMP,

From someone who truly wants to see you right the ship, but can't support you in the mean time, put together a landing page for the VMP URL that says you'll be down for year end maintenance and take that time to get orders shipped, corrected, and even take another look at your site to see if there are still issues.........I think you missed a few things.

My point being, you want to live up to your "We're your friends, going on this musical journey with you" with one breath and then try and play hard-ass corporate BS with another. You can't have it both ways, figure out who you want to be because I don't think you know, or care, at this point.

And yes, I'm telling you to lie to the masses with this "Year End" thing, but it's ok, that's easier to believe than all the other bullshit. Or better yet, just own up to the fuck ups and say your hitting the brakes, where have I heard that before, to get everything corrected. There have been countless, successful, companies that have gotten to the point of saying "Screw it, we stop everything until we get this shit fixed".

You can blame us, the "Toxic" people, or you can look in the mirror and see the truth of the matter. Regardless of all the "Why's" and finger pointing, we, the members/customers, are YOUR customers, not Blue Notes, not Saddle Creeks, not GZ's.............YOUR CUSTOMERS!!

Just change your address in the system to mine and request a cancelation. If they send them anyway, I'll make sure to get those back to Adam personally

Last year my December box had 24 records in it (I know, I know, what was I thinking?) and VMP/Saddle Creek dispatched it with an invoice stating 2 items, value 10 dollars. That led, obviously, to a huge problem with customs and they slapped me with a hefty fine on top of the usual import fees.
CS instructed me to pay as they would refund me the extra costs.
Then I had to deal with this Adam guy to have things sorted out. Not the best experience.

I should have jumped ship then.

That is fucked. Did you get it sorted?

Also, I think it was probably pretty clear, but in that scenario that I presented, I don't really send the records back. I fill the box with loose flan from the grocery outlet.

I recently got the stock email thanking us all for helping send the records back to them. Not a response to me saying I don't trust them and had some questions.

Some people are really excited about "helping out," and have their fingers crossed on the raffle. Meanwhile, they have tons of shit that still hasn't been delivered and will ultimately result in them getting an email informing them that they never will get some of that stuff. That is, if they're lucky. They might not ever get an email.

Yeah, I got it sorted.
I had my mind set on cancelling then but, like a dummy, I forgot to cancel the auto renew...
Not this time.
I've already cancelled the side subs and the annual renewal.
I'm just waiting to my refunds now.
No reply from CS since I've reached out on December 2.
I tried reaching out to Paul on Reddit but got ignored.
To be honest, I'm slowly coming to accept that they'll stiff me on the undelivered records.

I wish I could tell you. I sent an email out into the ether and 2 days later a response came back. But no responses to the previous email several days before about other issues. Also I FULLY expect to see people on here getting replacement Stones copies. They pressed 2500, most didn't go out until just this month. I suspect they have copies even if Jason told me they didn't.
