Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

I don't think any colored variant sounds great, at all. The VMP edition certainly isn't up to snuff, and the Loser variant is also lacking in dynamics. Don't know about the Rough Trade edition, but I'm certain it's more of the same.
The standard black apparently sounds acceptable. Might try one out from Amazon to see.

I could actually deal with the lack of dynamics, it's the near constant pops and low lever crackle/fuzz that's doing my head in. 3 copies of the Loser Ed. and all are just awful... Trying one more then giving up...

Acceptable as you said, but nothing special though.

I bought Julia Jacklin, I really like that album and I was sad that I waited too long and just missed it when it was in the store the first time, also the pressing looks so pretty. I checked the stock before I bought it and there are 13 left now.

@Enoch very eloquent statement to address both sides of the issue.i agree with some of your statement but on some things were just going to have a difference in opinion/views not trying to argue with anyone when MVP fu*ks up i'm going to be critical.on my end no hard feelings on to the next topic/subject.
Totally acceptable, let's just keep it about the debate and not about the person and no hard feeling here either

Yeah, I have the standard black Weyes Blood and it is OK/acceptable for a newer release. I would not call it "great."

I recommend jumping on that Julia Jacklin restock, though - that sounds fantastic. Or just the standard version from the label for $20 (should presumably be the same).

For a rainbo pressing the Jacklin is acceptable I suppose but it’s cut way too loud and lacks dynamics, great music though!

I didn't realize with the change in damage policy that there is an official form you can fill out for a replacement

This will surely make everything flow much more smoothly and increase customer satisfaction. I can’t envisage how a change in their communication or computing system could have any adverse effects.

Just heard from Jason at VMP about the retroactive sale credit request. The credit offer now covers only 48 hours before the start of the sale, so that's that.

They keep making it easy for me to stay away.

Here's an update on this. After firing off a reply where I noted disappointment over how VMP is taking away its customer friendly features one by one, Jason responded with a message telling me that the sale credit I requested has been issued.

Wasn't exactly the response I anticipated, but I feel obligated to share this development with you.

Things I will bring up this week are communication (I didn't know this form existed), direction (what does VMP want to be) ideas vs execution (are good ideas actually being executed, saying "no" and "not yet" more)

Too bad they didn't let their members know about this form... or the other updates. I got an email from them today about my latest wrap, and no mention of this form. Still feels like they are actively hiding policy changes. Not looking forward to seeing what they charge on my renewal. Wouldn't shock me if they just jump it up to the current new contract rate.
