I’m not piling on to clown them. Just stating some stuff. Technically, we all misuse the service, it was intended to be a discount service for libraries to send media to other libraries.
 
I used to work in comic books back in the day and got into many a conversation with the post office when they sent something back or demanded postage on something we sent or received. “Comic books have ads.” “Dude this isn’t 1982, there aren’t hasbro ads and x-ray spec order forms.”

Seeing what the execs of those companies make and the fact that he's leading such a powerful and important union I don't find his compensation egregious at all. If the C suite of a company can make millions a year and have all kinds of perks like bonuses and stock options, the head of a union should be able to make a healthy salary too.

Yeah I mean comparatively to the Jamie Dimons of the world he in not that well compensated. I take issue with that he is big buddies with Trump and seems to be doing this around an election.

Yeah the president of the West Coast Dock Workers Union makes a good amount less which is also more comparable to other major labor unions. The West Coast formed their own union so they could restructure the union in a way that is much more democratic.

While this is great news, we’re still awaiting specific information on when affected shipments will arrive. October’s ROTMs (including Essentials & Classics ROTMs) and some store titles were initially held up, and we’ll share more precise shipping updates as soon as we have them.

Please note that orders containing only in-stock items, as well as October Hip-Hop ROTMs, Swaps, and store orders with the direct ship option, are still on track to ship as planned. However, orders, including the impacted titles, will be delayed until those items arrive.

We’re working closely with our vendors to ensure everything is back on schedule quickly. We'll let you know as soon as we have more information on the updated fulfillment timeline.

For what it's worth most articles indicate a backlog because of the strike. One indicated a "one week backlog" for every day of the strike.

I'm sure VMP will overplay their hand but that backlog/uncertainty has some truth to it.
