I’m a big fan of the Hart interconnect system. It makes it easy to use my headphone collection with my different amps. My oldest cables (6XX) are almost 5 years old and no issues.Cool. Hart was what I was eying. I’ll check the other out.
Even better as that will be their specific application.I’m a big fan of the Hart interconnect system. It makes it easy to use my headphone collection with my different amps. My oldest cables (6XX) are almost 5 years old and no issues.
Yes! That was what really caught my eye. So simple, but also a robust design on the actual hifi front. It works great in practice as well! That DAC/Amp looks the business. I love how the headphone stand is part of the design. Enjoy!
Yes they all have really nice packaging, lots of extras. Mine are all wired so it's a bit different but they do a very nice job.View attachment 219717View attachment 219718View attachment 219719View attachment 219720View attachment 219721Well, there were not white gloves, but that may have been due to packaging restraints.
@Mather are all of them like this? That was a bit of an experience and pretty cool.
P.s. I dislike the IKEA style manual.
There was a lapel pin, a uselessly small usb cable, and six sets of ear padsYes they all have really nice packaging, lots of extras. Mine are all wired so it's a bit different but they do a very nice job.

They are an odd color but I don’t hate it.Look like a nice couple of hand made chocolates dusted in matcha powder
That's too bad, like I said I've only had experience with the wired ones and they've been universally great. The 6XX are awesome. It’s a dumb cliche, but listening to Tommy is like a whole new thing. Love them. Will be happy for a while with these, I think.
@Mather the fucking campfires may be going back. They are finicky to get connected to Bluetooth, the app doesn’t appear to do anything except not be able to find them, and when I do get them running - only the right one works.
I’m gonna reach out to their technical support but so far
I mean the right channel sounded awesome. Wish there was sound out of the other channel. That's too bad, like I said I've only had experience with the wired ones and they've been universally great.
They are a classic for a reason. IMO they are special with tube amplification. I have a DarkVoice tube amp and have also been enjoying them with my recently acquired PS Audio BHK Preamp. Also, I REALLY dig these HD6XX. One of those pieces of gear that makes me want to listen to everything now!
I just noticed this yesterday when I was listening to some Bose QC Ultra headphones. The Bose Preset sounds good. Just need to make sure you don’t have other DSP from the Bose app on at the same time.OPRA makes optimized headphone tuning accessible to everyone
