Today is the 50th anniversary of the release of Miles Davis' 'In A Silent Way', which is my favorite Miles album. Still sounds so fresh to my ears.
After considerable thought and reflection, I have decided that I will not be performing at Woodstock 50.
Woodstock 50 is like the Jason Voorhees of concert promotions.
I know he is a polarizing figure, but, if nothing else, Quentin Tarantino gives good soundtrack.

I'll try and post the link closer to next Tuesday, but, I believe that Austin City Limits will be streaming the tapings for their Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker episodes.
A third Black Pumas show has been added at The Mohawk in Austin. Glad they are simply adding more shows to the same venue rather than pushing us towards Stubb's or some other larger venue. They won't be playing a venue the size of The Mohawk in the future, that's for sure.
We might crack up in the sun, or we'll lose it in the shade.

After finishing season 3 of Stranger Things, all I want is to get myself a time machine and go back to Sharpstown Mall in Houston circa 1988 and get myself a large Tropical Cream Supreme from Orange Julius. And then go to Sam Goody to look for Cure cassingles.
Squeezing in an opening set performance tonight from Lola Tried. No idea who the headliner even is. Still feel like the cover charge is money well spent.
Now that all my to-dos are done, I can kick back and enjoy my day off. I mean I still have...(checks watch reading 3:20 pm)...OH COME ON!!!!

Loving all of the space related documentaries that are running right now to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. If you're into that stuff like me, don't sleep on PBS over the next few weeks.
