Definitive Audiophile pressings

Super fun. Really great restoration.

Unfortunately mine has a glob of who knows what on side B. A Record Doctor was next on my list of upgrades, anyway! Looks like the rest of that one will have to wait til then!
It's a glob of glue from the shitty inner sleeves. Mine has it too. Seems like the glue on the liner hadn't dried yet.

The only way to really remove it from the grooves is FirstRV.

Missed out on the Ramones box, but have a feeling I can easily snag that later.

Got one from Bull Moose - thanks a bunch, Dan! Good lookin out. $149 with no tax or shipping, can’t argue with that.

What is the mastering details for this? I’m just curious, not looking to buy.

Thought I would share this one with all of you. Its "Arne Domnérus, Bengt Hallberg, Georg Riedel, Egil Johansen + Lars Erstrand - Jazz At The Pawnshop" on Proprius from 1977.

The reason its relevant to this thread is that supposedly its one of the best recorded live albums of all time. There's loads of articles online written about exactly how the recording engineer was able to get such a fantasic sound and I have also seen a few reviewers mention that they use it when testing equipment as its such a great recording.

I'm very excited to listen to it, I have to admit to not hearing the full thing before. I heard part of a track somewhere and shazam'ed it, and have been meaning to listen ever since, but then saw about how great the vinyl pressing is so waited until a reasonably priced copy popped up.

Disappointing. I thought I'd be good, so only picked up Inner Spirit. I thought one Bill Evans would be enough.
I haven’t listened to Inner Spirit yet, how is it? If the recording quality is as good as Morning Glory I wouldn’t be disappointed, it’s great!

I don't have it yet. I ordered from Jazzmessengers this afternoon along with Mingus & Pepper Adams. (I'm sure I have enough).

I did manage to pick up Art Pepper yesterday, which I'm listening to now, sounds great.
