@Selaws I know you will have all of these, but might be able to point people to which are best. I'm in for all of them, something to look forward to in September.

I am indeed fortunate to have them, all of Nucleus' Vertigo discography.
I imagine Roots will be the most popular out of the 4 available here. For the others I actually think it might be the first official reissue of them so it's pretty exciting. I really do like Alleycat, it took me a while to find that one. Under The Sun is underrated in my opinion, it doesn't really get mentioned much but is fantastic.
I'm sure they are. I don't know who distributes Be With in the US. If you email the label, I'm sure they'll give you options, they've been very helpful when I've been in touch before.
I do know Honest Jon's stock them, I seem to remember someone saying on here that they are reasonable shipping to the US, but might wrong.
edit - Light in the Attic & Forced Exposure are the main US distributors

Well, I have listened to the full Kokoroko album twice and I'm really impressed. A proper great mix of upbeat music with some really lovely slow vocal/chanting tracks. Great stuff.

The impact of Weldon Irvine’s music across a wealth of genres cannot be overstated with his jazzy piano playing and compositions regularly passed down to newer generations. Artists like Q-Tip and Mos Def are noted admirers of the jazz-funk artist, and the distinct sounds of Irvi
One of the most beautiful records to come out of the early 70s – a tremendous indie effort from a young Weldon Irvine! Irvine put this album together as sort of a musical "time capsule" of his generation – an effort to capture the era's thoughts, feelings, and emotions through a mix of music...
A totally great package – one that brings together some of the coolest cuts ever from the early solo years of Weldon Irvine! Side one of the record features two takes on his great "Deja Vu" – the initial short version, which has more of a take on the catchy jazzy lyrics – and the longer...

Same for me re Time Capsule. I have Irvine’s Liberated Brother on PP and really like it. I have a bit of a PP wishlist right now —- I recently ordered Randy Weston’s “African Cookbook” and will eventually pull the trigger on Cecil Payne’s Zodiac, MJQ’s Pyramid, Booker Ervin That’s It, and some others.

For those of you in the US—the nucleus titles are up for preorder at Forced Exposure. Roots in April and they other three in September it seems. Don’t know when they charge.
So the baby was really taken by Out of the Cool this morning. While she likes Jack Johnson (she gets chill when it plays) and digs it when I dance with her to stuff, this was the first time she seemed curious about the music. She spent more time looking towards the speakers than normal and was reacting to various passages - smiling/giggling.

It must be strange having no frame to put this experiences into. Man I wish I remember what that was like. It’s one thing to experience an album for the first time again, but just music in general. Whoa!
haven't had time to clean it, so didn't bother opening it. I'm away this week, so it'll have to wait until this weekend. Sorry, not much help, but I'm sure other people will chime in!
Well this is exciting! The debut album from Kokoroko.
I saw these guys live 3 years ago so crazy to think we only just have an album from them.
The pricing seems to be weird. £20 for the limited edition vinyl with £10 postage (to the same country!!!!), but when you go through it comes up as £24 plus £6. Either way, £30 for UK people. Or £18 plus postage for the standard.
On a side note, British Progressive Jazz (the new label from Jazz In Britain's Matt Parker) have hinted at their first physical release being available today so look out for that, although I have a feeling it might be CD only.
Discover Could We Be More by Kokoroko. Limited edition LP, CD, and tape formats available. Brownswood Recordings brings you an expansive and ambitious debut album that evokes the power of home through music.
