Jazz

Just hope they find a way to get better distribution over in the US/Canada. Their shipping costs to Canada are horrendous
They have been on other websites besides their own. Paladin got some last time for Night Lights and it was on Amazon as well. I only ordered direct because I got some FOMO for the latest 2 releases.

I'm seeing them on Juno, Sound of Vinyl, various UK shops, etc.

Good to know that Juno carries them. Sadly they are out of Gerry Mulligan but they have the Blue Mitchell. Their shipping is more reasonable, plus no pay until item ships which is very nice.

MD shows Mulligan due tomorrow, last time they had a date it was delayed though so not sure what will happen if you order. This label will drive me crazy (like others) I'm sure 😊

Four, Carter, Pepper still have current dates on the AS website or is this something else ?
they haven't been updated on AS. Hampton Hawes is July, but then the rest after that are pushed back and nothing until December. Craft's website and Amazon have them all pushed back. Art Pepper isn't until March 2023 now...

[PRE-ORDER] Product expected to ship by March 24th, 2023.

pretty glad I didn't pass on the Pepper Mono now  and I have The Benny Carter CR

I'm looking at picking up a copy of Bill Evans' "polka dots & moonbeams" and I'm seeing a lot of copies of waxtime's reissue. I assume this is trash? should I spend the extra coin for an OJC / Riverside copy? Or is there a better version to keep an eye out for?

Waxtime is a grey label from Europe, best to avoid really as it's likely a digital/CD source. Cant go wrong with OJC's if you can find a copy, affordable and good pressings.

I’d look elsewhere. As @Selaws said, waxtime is grey market so probably sourced from a CD rip. I’ll try to give it a listen but this is the pressing I have and remember it sounding good:

I think @zdkaiser is one of the resident Bill experts so he may have some thoughts/recommendations too!

Any feedback on this BG cut?
I never got that one because I prefer mono + 33. The stereo has hard panning going on I believe. if that helps influence your decision at all...

I think I'll give it a shot.
The Gotta Groove vinyl is favorable from everything I see. I think there were Rhino pressings previously released with BG.
