After chewing on it a while, I can determine that the back halfFirst half is a 10/10, the back half I’m gonna have to chew on, but golly, what a great theatrical experience this was. 70mm!!!
rules. It becomes a rumination on how history informs culture. Idk how people can say this movie is zionist when the whole final sequence is an ironic silencing. His whole life and body of work have been stolen by the movement he didn't want to be a part of. But that's history baby, you just get carried by the tide. Seen a lot of comparisons to the TAR ending and The Master that I think are fitting.
